Upcoming publications

I’m currently crafting several books that reflect my time in Greenland, spanning poetry (haiku and haibun) and photography. These titles are planned for release later in 2026 (yes, I know I need to work on the covers).

Everyday Sisimiut

Photo Book | Mobile Photography

Shot entirely on a mobile phone while running errands or walking to work, these images capture the quiet rhythms and lived experience of a remote Arctic town. Documented between 2021 and 2026 with the camera always at hand, this collection moves past the postcard views to find the beauty in everyday moments, offering an intimate, ground-level portrait of life in Greenland’s second-largest town.

Life at the Polar Circle – Seven Years in Arctic Greenland

Haibun Book

What does it truly mean to call the Arctic home? Moving beyond typical travelogues, this collection of haibun (prose + haiku) offers an insider look at contemporary Greenland through the eyes of an Australian who lived there for seven years. From the logistics of transport to the quiet resilience of community, these reflections find the extraordinary in the everyday, providing a first-hand portrait of life in one of the world’s most remote and captivating landscapes.

Through a Window in Greenland

Haiku/Haibun Chapbook

Experience the passage of an Arctic year from a single vantage point in Sisimiut. This collection of haibun and haiku captures the shifting moods of the environment – from the “midnight sun” of summer to the aurorae of the polar night. Documenting the Arctic’s seasonal changes from my living room window, the poems offer a glimpse of life at the edge of the world.
